TTC Round 06: Mallory Park - August 2007

The Leicestershire circuit of Mallory park was host for round seven of the Triumph 675 Challenge. This series consists of Triumph Daytona 675's with no modifications allowed. There are two classes, with Michelin Young Guns for the under 25's and Triumph Triple Challenge for the over 25s. When we left Cadwell park a few weeks ago, Horsham 18yr old rider Jimmy Dye was winning the overall standings by 70 points and because of that he will qualify to ride Ross Walters fully tuned Daytona 675 with over 130BHP (compared to the ~110 standard) at the last Supersport round during the BSB races on 13/14th October at Brands Hatch.

British Sidecar Speedway Champs - Plymouth August 2007

Exciting sidecar speedway racing returned to the St Boniface Arena on 10 August, when the Plymouth track staged the third round of the British Championship.

TTC Round 06: Cadwell Park - August 2007

The Lincolnshire circuit of Cadwell park was host for round 6 of the Triumph 675 challenge. Saturday saw lots of excitement with James Dye winning the Superpole one of 5 people to win the fantastic michelin watch from the 6 rounds. Race one saw a competetive battle between James Dye and Rob guinan, with James just winning by 0.3 of a second. Race two was wet and saw more excitement and Rob take his first Michelin young guns win. Congratulations to Ben Cater as well, who also nabbe a first class win in the Triumph Triple Challenge.
